Dr. V.K Abdul Azeez, a Veteran Consultant Surgeon & Managing Director of Daya General Hospital Thrissur is the Chairman of M.T.M Trust and College, Veliyancode. The College is named after his beloved father M.T. Mammad Haji (Late) who was a progressive and forward looking person. It was his earnest desire to impart modern education to the future generations which he did to the best of his ability. MTM Trust and College is dedicated to his everlasting memory. Dr. Azeez is making an earnest effort to fulfill his father's dreams into reality. MTM College was established in 2014 with three graduate courses and 100 students. It has recorded a rapid growth; and 800 students are now studying there for 8 different degree courses. It is beyond all doubt true that the public has immensely supported this institute of learning and education. It is a blessing to the students of Veliyancode Panchayath, Malappuram & Thrissur Districts. The College Management is intending to expand the infrastructure facilities of the college. MTM Sports Village under construction is nearing completion. The work of MTM Public Library and MTM Rural IT Park is progressing well and it is scheduled to be finished in the Academic Year 2020-21.

It is proposed to start industry oriented and value added courses in aviation and logistics under the career enrichment programme. These courses enable the students to secure employment immediately after graduation. Dr Abdul Azeez is an avid reader, a gifted speaker and a talented writer. He is a columnist who writes occasionally about health topics and subjects related to health care in newspapers and periodicals. He delivers speeches and engage classes on visual media platforms.TV channels like Asianet, Kairali, Janam TV, Jeevan TV have televised his TV programs.

It was during his service as Deputy Superintendent of Thrissur Medical College, an organisation called 'Friends of Medical College' was formed. The prime objective of this organisation was the infrastructure development of Medical College. Maintenance and installation of medical college equipments, hiring and employment of temporary clerical and security staff was also done by them. 'Janata Pharmacy' was established in college campus to help the penniless poor patients and made medicine available at a subsidized rate .This move was opposed by the pharmaceutical traders as it had dashed their hope to make undue profit and dealt a heavy blow to the unethical trade practices.

After leaving Govt. Medical service he took initiative to set up Daya Speciality Surgical Centre. After 6 years Daya General Hospital; a 300 bedded Multi-Super Specialty Hospital having all modern amenities and facilities was inaugurated. Daya General Hospital was a dream project of Dr. Abdul Azeez for which he made an all out effort and became a reality.

Besides being a renowned General Surgeon, he has a passion for farming and agriculture. A wide variety of vegetables and fruits are grown in his organic farm in Kondayur, Deshamangalam. He is fond of cultivating his own Paddy fields in his native village, Veliyancode.

Dr. Abdul Azeez is a man of many talents; Academic, Administrator, Educationist, Entrepreneur and a Nature Conservationist. He is caring and compassionate who reaches out to his fellow human beings in distress.

Hava Humma has asserted herslf as an educationist and academic.She is the motivator and the promoter of MTM trust and MTM college veliankode. A post graduate in physics she has a proven track record of 33 years of meritorious service as a Teacher, Administrator and Head of the Physics Dept of MES Ponnani College. Her contribution as a teacher who have moulded the charactor of thousands of students is invaluable .She was born and brought up in an aristocratic orthodox family in Malappuram dist. Born in an educationally backward community, she rose to eminence by sheer hard work and devotion to her duty. She is a model worth emulation for the girls of all caste and creed.She has been assigned the task of establishing Senior College in a remote area of Malappuram dist. Now it has grown to become a full fledged college with all facilities and amenities like a modern stadium and well stalked library.

Professor Havva Humma is not only an academic but a nature conservationist also. She is very fond of farming and agriculture. She is the lone person who cultivates her paddy fields for consumption of rice for the family.In her farm at Deshamangalam she is growing 1500 banana trees and other vegetables. She likes organic farming without using pesticides and chemicals. Rearing cows is her hobby.A rare variety of 'vechur cows' are grown in her farm.This is a dwarf variety of cows not often seen every where as it is an endangered species.

Dr. Saheer Neduvanchery MBBS, MS, MCh, MRCS is the son of Dr V K Abdul Azeez and Prof N Havahumma. Dr Saheer is currently working as a Surgical Oncologist in Regional Cancer Center, Trivandrum. He took Bachelors degree in MBBS from the prestigious Madras Medical College and his post graduation and Superspeciality in Surgical Oncology from PGI Chandigarh and JIPMER Pondicherry respectively. He also posses an MRCS from UK. He is a doctor with a passion for academics and social services and is also active in social media platforms to empower people on the preventive and clinical aspects of Cancer. He is an Orator, Writer and Poet. He is one of the Directors of Daya General Hospital, Thrissur and Vice Chairman of Relief Charitable Trust which work for the welfare of poor cancer patients.

Soudabi N currently leads the Change Management at Strides Arcolab, a Pharmaceutical Company based out of Bangalore. She has more than 12 years of experience in the Corporate sector having served leadership roles in leading companies such as Goldman Sachs and Ocwen Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. She also co-founded the Health Tech start-up BestDoc Technologies. Her experience in the corporate sector is mostly on undertaking various strategic projects, cost re-engineering, risk management and process improvements. She is also one of the Alternative Directors for Daya General Hospital Ltd, Thrissur. She takes an active interest in various social causes including education and women empowerment.

She was a rank holder in SSLC and completed her B-tech in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
