As per the guidelines of UGC under the Act of 1956, which is modified as UGC regulations on curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, the establishment of an Anti-Ragging Cell is very compulsory.
Ragging is prohibited in all forms at MTM College of Arts Science and Commerce, and the College shall take strict action against them. Those found guilty of ragging or abetting ragging will face severe consequences, including criminal prosecution and/or cancellation of admission.
Objective
The Anti-Ragging Cell will serve as a supervisory and advising committee in order to maintain a ragging-free culture on campus.
