MTM College

MTM Arts, Science and Commerce College is a higher education institution in Kerala committed to academic excellence and holistic student development. The college was established in memory of Late M.T. Mammed Haji, an eminent personality who strongly believed in the transformative power of education at a time when modern learning was often discouraged.

M.T. Mammed Haji’s vision and guidance played a significant role in ensuring that future generations of his family and community had access to quality education. Inspired by his ideals, the institution continues to uphold values of learning, discipline, and social responsibility.

The college is managed by the Mammed Haji Educational & Charitable Trust under the leadership of Dr. V. K. Abdul Azeez, Chairman of the Trust and the College. Named in honour of his beloved father, MTM College stands as a dedicated centre for higher education, offering academic programmes in arts, science, and commerce with a focus on intellectual growth and ethical values.

Value based education is our motto. Our sincere efforts are to educate the youth in facing the challenges of life, fighting the social inequalities and creating the awareness to lead the life of a responsible citizen. Quality of education can enhance their civic conscience. We strive to impart world class coaching and uphold ethics and values in the field of education.

MTM college of Arts, Science and Commerce, was established in the heart of the flourishing town Malapuram. The college has been affiliated to the University of Calicut since its inception. The journey of MTM began in 2014 with a mission and vision of moulding a generation with strong education and moral values. The college has a three storied building with an impressive hall, a seminar room and fully furnished computer lab. Our goals were to promote excellence in the sphere of higher education and cater to the needs and aspirations of the less privileged sections of the society.

By education we aim at the formation of the human person with respect to his/ her ultimate goal and simultaneously with respect to the good of those societies of which as a human being. We enables the students to choose their anticipated career and to sustain their values, ethics and traditions in the society. In addition to this our institution establishes a good relationship between teachers, and students and parents.

The College seeks to create an intellectual environment that enhances individual growth and supports scholarly activities and creative endeavors that augment human knowledge and understanding. We contribute to overall personality development of students through academic, sports, cultural and extension activities and Impart a perfect blend of traditional and modern education. We create and develop youth as responsible citizens with multi-dimensional personalities by inculcating among students a blending of cultural awareness, compassionate and progressive attitude, scientific insights and time-tested traditional values.

M.T.M College of Arts, Science and Commerce was established in June 2014.Under the self-financing sector. It is situated on the Eastern side of the famous Cannoli Canal in Veliyancode Panchayath, the Southern Coastal part of Malappuram District, Kerala. The lush green campus gives a perfect ambience conducive to exemplary academic excellence.

The college is run by M/s M.T Mammed Haji Educational and Charitable Trust under the chairmanship of Dr. V.K Abdul Azeez (Chairman and MD, M/s Daya Hospitals Trichur). The secretary of the Trust and the Manager of the College is Prof. N. Havva Umma(Former Head, Department of Physics; M.E.S College, Ponnani).

The Trust has a vision of providing Higher Education to the needy rural and underdeveloped Coastal population of Veliyancode and surrounding areas. The college provides secure undergraduate programmes. Now the college is catering to the higher education requirements of nearly one thousand students. The staff strength of the college is a total of 33 teachings and providing non-teaching staff. All staff numbers are providing their best to the college. The college also provides sports and games facilities and participates in various cultural activities.

In the future, the college is expecting vast expansion for the conduct of more Courses.
