ദേശീയ വാഗൺ ബോട്ട് ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ വെങ്കലമെഡൽ കർണ്ണാടകയിലെ ഉടുപ്പിയിൽ വച്ച് നടന്ന ദേശീയ വാഗൺ ബോട്ട് ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ 200 മീറ്റർ സീനിയർ മത്സരത്തിൽ വെങ്കലം നേടിയ കേരള ടീം അംഗം വെളിയങ്കോട് MTM കോളേജിലെ S4 Sociology ക്ലാസിലെ ആഷിക്കിന്  ലഭിച്ചു.

കർണ്ണാടകയിലെ ഉടുപ്പിയിൽ വച്ച് നടന്ന ദേശീയ ഡ്രാഗൺ ബോട്ട് ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ 200 മീറ്റർ സീനിയർ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ വെങ്കലം നേടിയ കേരള ടീം അംഗം എംടിഎം കോളേജ്   BA Sociology വിദ്യാർത്ഥി ആഷിഖിനെ ആദരിച്ചു, എംടിഎം കോളേജിന് വേണ്ടി കോമേഴ്‌സ് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റ് വകുപ്പ് മേധാവി മായ.സി. മൊമെന്റോ നൽകി, മാനേജ്‌മെന്റ് സ്റ്റഡീസ്  വകുപ്പ് മേധാവി ആഷിക് എൻപി, സോഷ്യോളജി വകുപ്പ് മേധാവി അബ്ദുൾ വാസിഹ് എന്നിവർ സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു

On December 1, 2023, during the observance of AIDS Day, the Department of Sociology at MTM College was honored by the Govt. Hospital Perinthalmanna Blood Bank and IMA Perinthalmanna for its continued efforts in organizing blood donation programs.
