The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell of MTM College is a dedicated initiative aimed at fostering rural development through active student and faculty engagement. The cell serves as a bridge between the institution and nearby villages, encouraging students to understand rural life, identify local challenges, and provide sustainable solutions. Through field visits, surveys, awareness programmes, and community development activities, the UBA Cell promotes experiential learning and social responsibility among students. Mission To empower students with the knowledge, skills, and social commitment required to contribute to rural development and nation-building through active community engagement. Vision To transform MTM College into a socially responsible institution that actively contributes to sustainable rural development and creates socially conscious citizens. Objectives To create awareness about rural issues and community development. To encourage students to engage with villages through fieldwork and surveys. To identify and address local challenges in areas such as health, sanitation, education, and livelihood. To promote sustainable and innovative solutions for rural development. To instill social responsibility and civic sense among students.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell Inauguration & Orientation Programme

The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell Inauguration and Orientation Programme was organized by the UBA Cell of MTM College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Veliancode in association with IQAC and IIC on 16 March 2026 at 11:45 AM through Google Meet. The programme was inaugurated by Principal Abdul Karim K. The welcome address was delivered by Asik NP, UBA Cell Coordinator.
