SYNERGY 2026 – International Conference on “Sustainable Futures: Economy, Technology, Culture & Society in the 21st Century”
Back To EventsMTM College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Veliyancode, in collaboration with Sreenarayanaguru Open University, Kollam, successfully organized the SYNERGY 2026 International Conference on “Sustainable Futures: Economy, Technology, Culture & Society in the 21st Century” on February 10–11, 2026. The two-day international conference witnessed the active participation of more than 250 teachers, researchers, and students from various states across India, along with four internationally renowned speakers, making it a vibrant global academic platform. A total of 16 academic sessions were conducted, featuring keynote addresses, research paper presentations, and interdisciplinary discussions covering humanities, social sciences, commerce, management, and technology.
The inaugural session began with a prayer, followed by the Welcome Address by Abdul Wasih K.K., General Coordinator, who emphasized the importance of academic collaboration in addressing contemporary global challenges. The programme was presided over by Mr. Abdul Karim K., Principal, MTM College, who highlighted the institution’s commitment to promoting research, innovation, and sustainable academic practices. The conference was formally inaugurated by Dr. Biju R. I., Former Registrar and Associate Professor & Head, School of Humanities and Social Science, Sreenarayanaguru Open University, Kollam, who delivered the keynote address. Felicitation addresses were delivered by Prof. Hawahumma, Secretary, MTM College, and Mr. Rajendra Kumar K., Vice Principal. The inaugural session concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. Satheesh Kumar C., Joint Coordinator.
The Valedictory Session began with the Welcome Address by Ms. Preeshma K., Joint Coordinator, and was presided over by Mr. Abdul Karim K., Principal, MTM College. The Management Address was delivered by Prof. Hawahumma, Secretary, who congratulated the organizers. The Valedictory Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Sabique M. K., Principal, MES Ponnani College, Kerala, who appreciated the conference for fostering meaningful academic dialogue and collaboration. Certificates were distributed to participants in recognition of their academic contributions. The conference concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Abdul Wasih K.K., IQAC Coordinator and Conference Coordinator, followed by the National Anthem. The conference marked a significant academic milestone by strengthening global academic networking, promoting interdisciplinary research, and reaffirming MTM College’s commitment to academic excellence and sustainable knowledge development.
